Out in the hot sun over the weekend, I went out to practice some perspective drawing at the 2009 Art Center Car Classic. The theme was “By Air, Land, and Sea” and as you might imagine, it was a pretty remarkable scene.
To have such an event at my school and the opportunity to inspect and draw all these very interestingly designed cars in a familiar setting, was really pretty cool.

Kindred souls we must be, first Fear and Loathing and this one with the All American Muscle, used to date a guy, 22 years ago, that was a body fender guy, my father as well spent many years on his knees, and whenever I smell bondo, I think of my dad. I wish we had the gumption to bring back some of these babies with the technology we know now!
