The mighty hat has spoken and chance has ruled the day. I wrote down all your names, cut them up into separate pieces of paper, and shook it around…. It felt like the lottery. The results were completely random.
I wish I could give all who want it a print, but my pocket only runs so deep. Fortunately, there should be prints available for sale on my website for most everything soon.
Without further ado the three Grand Prize Winners of a signed high quality print are…

The postcards are on the shelf I installed in the image above, but here’s a close up. I am planning on giving you all a full set. They include Big Kahuna’s Kite Shop, Scurvy Dogs, Deep Fried and Fishy at the Frog Shaq, Battle at the Bridge, and the Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas Movie Poster.
I will try to contact you all to let you know that you’ve won. Grand Prize Winners I need you to pick out which pieces you want and I should be able to accommodate most requests. All winners have to get me some shipping info so that I can get you your prizes. Also, if it’s not something you REALLY want tell me so because I have plenty names to pick out of my hat. If you don’t get back to me by New Years Day same goes.
This was the first contest at Jay Zuck’s Sketch of the Day. It was a fun experience and there may be more down the road. Right now, I’m focusing on trying to firm up my job prospects. There’s a few things which are coming down the pipeline and I’m not sure which one of them are going to work out. I plan on sending out my portfolio to different studios after the holidays and as news or art breaks I’ll let you know what I can. I have already had to sign one NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement).
Be sure to SUBSCRIBE for updates. I thank all of you who participated from the bottom of my heart. I appreciate all of you.
Finally, to all I hope you have a good night. They played this at the end of my graduation ceremony so I’m passing on the feeling…

Those drawings and artworks posted are amazing. But anyways, I hope everything goes great for you.
Hi Jay,
Just want to thank you for all your awesome sketches, I didn’t miss many I think. I find it difficult to find words strong enough to appreciate your great work. Some of them I printed and stuck in my office and have invariably found myself staring at them and trying to figure out what could have been running in your mind when you made those sketches. Thanks for the mention above.
I wish you all the best in the future. May you get all you desire.
Take care and cheers.
Robin
@Michael McBride: I’m still on it! Life and art have been crazy hectic lately.
@Chin Ya: Still, working on the dream job, but your best wishes mean a lot.
@rustin watson: One thing is for certain, there’s always going to be some art coming around the corner.
@Robin: Shoot me a mailing address via email and I’ll see what I can do about getting you the postcards. I have appreciated you very much as a fan of my work and a mention is the least I could do. I hope everything is going well for y’ah.
