@Kat: Everything has been alright. I had a job working for this company called 3 Strand doing character design for a hush hush project, but they unceremoniously cut their character design budget. I have interviewed with Disney Consumer Products to do Character Design, but I was edged out by someone a little more experience. Art and life continues and I know some positive stuff is around the corner.

Ohh, and all of y’all check out Kat’s work. She is a phenomenal artist too!

This is a wonderful sketch, I love it! What damage can a storm do? What truly matters is the attitude towards the problem. We can stay optimistic about it or be gloomy before the situation becomes the problem itself. An image speaks louder than words. You are pure talent, Jay. I have a stumble for you! More good work on the way in coming new year, I hope?

@Grandma: It does take one to no one doesn’t it. When I think of the contributing element that made me an artist, you are high on my list. It was great having you out for graduation.

Jay, I retweeted this. I have not been into Twitter as heavily as I could be, have less that 200 followers, but I feel really strongly about your amazing talent and hopefully some of my friends will see this and get to know you and your work.

How you convey motion in your sketches really really blows me away.
