One of my favorite Fox cartoon shows is King of the Hill. Some of you may have heard today’s breaking news that the show has been officially canceled. The show is in its 13th year and has entertained me for virtually every one of those years. I am sad to see it go, but maybe it was more of a show for the George Bush era and thank God that’s over.
At least we will have until sometime in the 2009-2010 season to say good-bye. Here’s to our favorite redneck propane salesman. I’ll never forget when you told Beavis and Butthead to stop wacking off in your camper. How far you have come. Peace.

Hank Hill didn’t tell Beavis and Butthead to stop whackin off in his camper that was Tom Anderson, but their both played by the same guy.
Futurama is shit, King of the Hill is a classic.
I think “Lucky” was the “Shark Jump”. Dale was already there. Lucky was redundant. All good things must come to an end, as was noted in SP, the Simpsons have DONE everything. Futurama was OK, but I think King was a mature Sunday evening Satirical Cartoon. Futurama was just “missing” something, can’t put my finger on it. Mike Judge we need something new/or old, like a “when Beavis and Butthead grew up”

Futurama was a great show. I never really got into KotH but when I watched it I did laugh.

While I’m know this article is really old I just have to say, FINALLY.
I’m so glad this show was canceled. While I do “watch” it as background noise on adultswim, I just don’t get the show.
Is it suppose to be “realistic” look at southern life , or a complete satirical presentation of what it means to be a southern? I just never understood the show which is probably why I hated it so much.
At least Family Guy while decline in recent years as a premise still remains the same, a middle-class family whose father gets them wacky silly situations.
And Futurama never deserved to canceled when it was.
