“Missing Time” is an acrylic painting that was inspired by the movie Memento . Memento focuses on a character with short term memory loss who assisted by notes seeks to find the man who killed his wife. I tried to convey the idea of a man with his brain exposed. Also, to convey missing time I painted the character with a hole in his head and placed him in front of a clock. As the main character of Memento Leonard says, “The present is trivia.”
